The Ochre Conference Centre (aptly named after the Ochre Barn, as one of the earliest permanent buildings in Mossel Bay), is part of the Dias Museum Complex. The Ochre Conference Centre has direct access to Market Street, with plenty of parking and very centrally situated to the CBD, Harbor and Yacht Club, Dias Museum and Santos Beach (ideal for teambuilding activities). This conference venue steeped with history, has been built and refurbished with the highest of standards being awarded four stars by the Tourism Grading Council.
The Ochre Centre is adjacent to the renowned Café Gannet Restaurant, Mossel Bay's Seafood House. The Café Gannet restaurant also offers a private dining room / boardroom. This modern and chic venue can accommodate 12-15 guests comfortably. The Café Gannet Restaurant has a seating capacity for 100 people indoors and 60 outdoors – a total of 160.
Conferencing Packages can be customized according to client's specific requirements with standard equipment.

- Any further outstanding amounts should be settled on presentation of the invoice on departure from the Ochre Conference Centre or Hotel.
- Should you have authorised credit facilities with Protea Hotel Mossel Bay in place; prepayment does not apply. Please forward a copy of a signed company order / voucher direct to the hotel on or before 30 days prior to arrival.
- On or before TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL your final rooming list / function requirements will be required by the hotel.
CANCELLATION FEES :
- Up to 60 days prior to arrival, 100% of rooms / conference facilities reserved / delegate attendance may be cancelled with no cost.
- Up to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% or rooms / conference facilities reserved / delegate attendance may be cancelled with no cost.
- Up to 7 days prior to arrival, 10% of rooms / conference facilities reserved / delegate attendance may be cancelled with no cost.
- 7 days to 0 days prior to arrival, 100% cancellation fee will apply on rooms / conference facilities reserved and delegate attendance.
